Portland Zine Symposium

Hi everybody! I'm planning a 24 hour zine thing event for my library (Olympia Timberland Library) July 31st through August 1st, to be hosted at Northern, Olympia's awesome all ages club. The event will start on Saturday at 5:30pm, Broken Water will play at 8, and the event will finish on Sunday with willing participants reading from their zines starting at 3 pm. I'm looking for folks that might be willing to volunteer for 3 hour shifts, basically just keeping an eye on stuff, helping people with questions, and making sure there aren't any problems. Because this is a library program, I will have to ask you to fill out a really minimal background check (it's required for all library volunteers). If you're interested, please email me by July 1st. Olympia is a fun, friendly place, and you can rock your completed 24 hour zine at the Portland Zine Symposium a month later!
