Length of time with PZS?
Last year (2009) was my first year attending and this year is my first year as an organizer. How did you get involved? / What attracted you to this job?
I would have loved to help last year but I moved to Portland a couple months before the zine symposium. When i met Alex at the 2009 zine symposium she suggested i help out this year (which i was already thinking of doing). I was so amazed by a room full of zinesters that I felt the need to help make it happen.
What do you do for PZS?
I am the coordinator/editor for the program this year, and i'm sure a bunch more things as time goes on.
Favorite parts of the event?
Being able to meet pen pals, making new friends, trading zines, showing friends around the city, etc....
Age, and anything you'd like to say about your self..
I am 28 years old and have been reading and making zines since I was 15. I moved to Portland a year ago from Buffalo, NY and have been loving every minute of it since.
You might know me from..
I make a personal zine called All Things Ordinary, named after a record label i used to run. I also run the blog Overglued where I write news, reviews and interviews of zines, indie comics, and other small press publications.
Etc, etc, etc.
