This is my 2nd year organizing.
How did you get involved? / What attracted you to this job?
I knew I wanted to start helping out with PZS when I moved to Portland last year. It was really rewarding and exciting to be involved with such a creative and inspiring event, so I decided to help organize again this year!
What do you do for PZS?
Hang out, vote on things, write things down, help coordinate donations, you know.
Favorite parts of the event?
Getting to talk zines with lots of rad folks, seeing it all come to fruition after months of hard work, and spending time with out of town zinesters!
Age, and anything you'd like to say about your self...
I'm 24, but I'll be 25 by the time the 10th annual symposium comes around. I love Portland and feel privileged to be a part of the thriving zine community here!

I write a zine called aubade and a funny little zine about technology called we are not machines! I'm also part of the Stumptown Underground zine collective, which publishes monthly, themed zines, and I keep up with the Word of Mouth section for Zine World.
